Music director and violinist ismail Darbar was born on 1 st June, 1964 in Surat. He started his career as a violinist with the other A-Listed music directors of the Hindi film industry. He won national film award and Filmfare RD Burman Award for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 which was his debut film and Screen Award for Devdas in 2002. He appeared as the judge of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2005 and 2007, Amul Star Voice of India, Singing Star fro the national television. His first album was Rasiya Sajan in 2007. Later he joined BJP in 2011.
